About Renna R. Rhea, R.N., L.Ac.

Renna Rhea has spent her life advocating health and well-being. Having worked in the health field since 1973, Renna has a long history of helping her patients heal and expertise that comes with solid experience.

Thirty two years as a Registered Nurse taught Renna valuable assessment skills and allowed her to work directly with patients, but her time as an R.N. also showed her the limitations of Western medicine. Now, as a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, Renna treats the whole person — the underlying emotional, social and lifestyle issues of her patients — not just their symptoms.

Renna completed her training in Chinese medicine at Yosan University in Los Angeles. She then traveled to China to participate in advanced studies with masters of traditional Chinese medicine. Seeking to share her knowledge and wisdom, and to help heal her community, Renna has opened Healing Lotus Acupuncture, a private practice in West Los Angeles.
